JOY Movie Night

JOY invites you to share a simple, but tasty meal of pizza in GRACE Hall followed by our movie for the evening “Brave the Dark”, which will be shown in the sanctuary on Friday, February 20, 2026. Popcorn and soft drinks will be available for you to enjoy beginning at 5:00 pm. Our pizza will be served at about 5:30 pm. Please remember that we cannot take any food or drinks into the sanctuary.

The movie is based on the true story of Nate Williams in the town of New Holland, Lancaster County, PA. Nate was troubled by traumatic memories of his angry father. He lived in his car for two years and ran on his school’s track team just to be able to take a shower. Drama teacher Stan Deen took an interest in Nate and became his legal guardian. You need to see the movie to know how the story ends.
