Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering is a faith-based partnership that provides a network of care and hospitality for the homeless in our community. We are happy to announce that the need for volunteers to help prepare hot lunches with New Bethany has been filled. You may want to consider being on a waiting list in case the situation changes and more volunteers are needed. Northeast Ministry’s primary focus is to help the children living in the Marvine/Pembroke public housing community reach their potential in life and break the cycle of dependence by providing them with the personal and spiritual resources to improve the quality of their lives.

ShareCare Faith In Action is a non-profit network of trained volunteers from faith groups and the wider community that provides compassionate and practical services to the elderly and those with special needs to enhance their dignity, independence, and quality of life. ShareCare always has great need for volunteers to help especially with clients’ transportation to doctors’ appointments and other small tasks. Since inception, TFW has reached out to women who are lost, broken, and in need of truth. It operates Truth for Women Center and My Sister’s Closet. Victory House of the Lehigh Valley addresses the problems of homeless men. The facility provides 24-hour emergency shelter, transitional housing, and supportive services such as counseling, life skills education, medical care, and employment assistance to males who have found themselves displaced due to recent incarceration, mental health or substance abuse issues, or other related dependency problems.
