Preschool Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

The GRACE Kid’s Preschool Coordinator, as a part of the NEXT Generation Team, provides leadership to our preschool (Birth – Pre-K) programs, families and kids living out GRACE’s mission of “Inviting All to Know the GRACE of Jesus.” ‍

GOALS AND EXPECTATIONS

· Be a champion for our Preschool kids & families.

· Provide kids and their families with an extraordinary “wow” experience at GRACE.

· Create a safe and age-appropriate environment for all programs involving pre-school aged children.

· Equip parents to be the primary faith-shapers through communication, resources and equipping events.

· Work with the Next Generation Team in promotion and execution of major events such as Trunk or Treat, VBS, Egg Hunt, Sports Camp and the Golf Tournament.

· Collaborate with the Kids Director to recruit, develop, & train volunteers for programming and major events.

· Ensure all Grow groups, Life groups, Care groups, and events requiring childcare are adequately and appropriately staffed.

· Schedule, supervise and train Childcare Team.

· Create a welcoming environment.  Be polite, friendly, and welcoming to all children, parents, and other team members.

 PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS

· Demonstrates a relationship with Jesus Christ, guided by a commitment to following biblical principles for life and ministry.

· Energized by the Mission and People of GRACE Church.

· A heart for pre-school age children and families.

· College degree preferred.
