Candlelight Dinner

The Candlelight Dinner, our annual signature event, has been carefully planned for your enjoyment. Our caterer of choice, Karen Hunter, will be providing an excellent meal for us to enjoy together.

MENU: Baby green salad, balsamic Vinaigrette, grape tomatoes and cucumbers, breadbasket and butter roses, roast tenderloin of pork / mustard sauce, scalloped potatoes and steamed broccoli. Chocolate Cake with Peanut butter frosting for dessert.

Our after-dinner entertainment will be a variety of musical selections performed by Stephen and Jane Rivera. Stephen has been a member of our Chancel Choir since February of 2023 and has, on several occasions, also served as our substitute director. Steve and his wife, Jane, are both graduates of Westminster Choir College (graduating with Greg Funfgeld in 1976) and both served as music educators in the Quakertown School District. In addition to directing the Quakertown High School choral program, Steve was the choir director at Calvary Baptist Church in Bethlehem, Pinebrook Junior College, and the conductor of The Bethlehem A Capella Singers. Steve has also been a soloist with the Pocono Concert Chorale and the Bach Choir of Bethlehem. Jane Rivera was, for many years, a featured soloist in the Christmas Concerts at Seibert Evangelical Congregational Church in Allentown.
