Pastor Manuela Kauer
Pastor for Mission & Outreach
Pastor Manuela’s preparation for service includes extensive experience both on the mission field and at home. She is multilingual which includes—as she herself expresses it—”speaking several languages, but also conveying the faith in many different ways.” Manuela Kauer is a woman of deep personal faith and wisdom. She has been a servant leader who has discerned God’s call for her life in a ministry. She is passionate and committed to serving God’s precious children throughout the world.
Born in Spain, Manuela and her family moved to Switzerland where she went to high school and then received a BA degree in Business. Later coming to the United States, she continued her education. After receiving her Master of Divinity, she completed a few years ago her Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership of Missional Church Renewal, at Palmer Seminary.
Manuela, her husband, Juan, and daughters, Laura and Camila, served during 15 years as missionaries in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There she carried multiple tasks including being the Coordinator of a US faith program for Young Adult Volunteers in Argentina and Uruguay and completing two pastoral positions in local churches in Buenos Aires. She also served as the Interim Pastor of United Presbyterian Church in Pottsville, PA before serving as Pastor for Congregation Life and Care and now as the Pastor for Mission and Outreach of our congregation.
