GRACE Midweek Bible Study

Wednesdays 6:30 PM | Via Zoom
Thursdays at 11:00 AM | GRACE Hall B

September 13 – December 13, 2023

We are living in a cultural moment in which a serious faith commitment seems strange, out of place, even regarded as harmful. This kind of experience is hardly new. The Old Testament story of the exile tells about how God’s people found themselves living in a place that was not friendly to their faith. And it tells about what it mean to thrive in such a place. This fall the Midweek Bible Class will listen to the words of the prophet Jeremiah to understand better how to live well in exile.

Before Jesus was born, God had been revealing himself to his people, making himself known through his law and through the words of the prophets. In Jesus, God’s self-disclosure comes to its most complete and definitive expression. In the New Testament, the book of Hebrews connects the dots and shows us how the entire Bible is one story that points to Jesus. Join Dr. Gary Harlow on Sunday morning at 11:00 for a verse by verse study of the Book of Hebrews.
