GRACE this Week

God is my witness how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:9

There have never been truer words that speak what my heart is feeling. I deeply miss seeing you and gathering weekly with you. Yet, I am so grateful that technology allows us to be connected. I am so grateful for our team that is working to keep us connected… And so grateful for each of you.

It has blessed me greatly to see you all hoping on to GRACE Live to be a part of worship and our other weekly offerings. It is also a blessing to learn that small groups and bible studies are adjusting to this season. If you have prayer requests, I hope that you will let us know… email them at pray@gracecb.org. I am beginning to pray for each of you – working through our GRACE church rolls like I did while in the Holy Land. So please let us know how to pray for you.

These are unusual times to connect and unusual times to serve our city. We have reached out to our partners to connect with them and see what their needs are as they adjust to dealing with Covid-19. We will continue to bring specific needs to you. Click here to see a list of needs we have heard about and specific needs for our homeless population as most of the shelters have had to close down. In addition, if you encounter needs within our congregation or in our community, please email us at help@gracecb.org. You can also let us know you would like to help as needs surface.

Finally, please do join us for worship on Sunday at 9 and 10:30. I’ll be continuing in the series, The Twelve, with a deep dive into the life of James and John, the Sons of Thunder. I will also interview one of our own GRACE doctors and we will pray for him and for all the workers (medical, emergency, and more) who are serving on the frontlines. More than ever, by our life, we can share with people our faith, our peace and our kindness.

Finally, we are getting questions about giving. There are three ways you can give and keep GRACE strong.

  1. Give through the Website – gracecb.org/giving
  2. Give through EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) (form on gracecb.org/eft or call the Finance Office: 484-898-8958
  3. Mail checks payable to: Grace Church Bethlehem  521 E. Locust St. Bethlehem, PA, 18018

Grace Church, I miss you, I long for you…. But it is such a privilege to be…
