GRACE This Week

We have been on a journey… And we will continue to be on a journey…

But the tabernacle season we have been on for the last 5 years will come to an end this Sunday.

What a God we serve! What a community of believers God has put together to shine in the Lehigh Valley, inviting all to know the grace of Jesus!

Sunday, we will worship for the final time at BECAHI. There are so many things the Lord has taught us, so many ways He has been at work in us and through us. Sunday, we will remember together the joys and challenges of these years. After 40 days of appearing as the risen Jesus, Jesus went to be with the Father, but made a promise…. “I WILL BE WITH YOU.”  Sunday, we will remember that through it all, we have experienced that promise. The Lord has been with us. May we never forget.

The next few weeks will be full of celebration and not only looking back but looking forward.

OPEN HOUSES – Thursday, April 27- Saturday, April 29

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, you are invited to an Open House. For more information and to reserve your spot, CLICK HERE. At the open houses, you will get a tour of the new church and have a chance to pray for all God has in store for us as a church.

PRAYING & TRAINING – Saturday, April 29

Saturday will also be a time of training and praying. Join us at 11 am for a prayer walk around the campus. And if you are on our Welcome Team, you have already received word about training. If you want to join our Welcome Team, please reach out to Doug Stewart – dstewart@gracecb.org – our Pastor for Mission and Welcome. He will find you a place to serve.

FIRST SUNDAY – April 30

On April 30, we will have our first worship services at 4301 Hecktown Road – at our regular service times. Expect an adventure that day, as we live into our new space. The building will take us several months to fully settle into. Parts of the building won’t quite be finished… but it will be an amazing first day to praise God for his incredible faithfulness.

BUILDING DEDICATION – May 7

On May 7, we will celebrate our Building Dedication. The dedication will happen on the plaza in front of the steeple at 10:30 am. Plan to attend a celebration worship service before or after the dedication. It will be an exciting day to hear our organ for the first time (in the Classic Service) and to have some special guests from our community to help us mark this once in a lifetime event of dedicating our new church. To the glory of God!

Next week, look for more information about parking and shuttles and other details.

What a joy to write these words! What a joy that we are at this milestone for our church. Praise the Lord!

Your pastor,

Dr. Marnie Crumpler
Senior Pastor
