GRACE This Week

22 years ago, Sue Knarr started her work with us. Yes 22 years! With her heart for the Lord, and her financial acumen, Sue has guided our Finance Office for all these years. In the 7 years I have been privileged to work with Sue, I have marveled at her patience, her integrity, her faith and her investment in our members and our staff. She is a dear friend and trusted colleague. Over the last 3 years, Sue has had double the work – thanks to your generosity — managing not only our annual giving and expenses, but also our SHINE Capital Campaign giving and expenses. I know I speak for all of us when I say that we have a deep sense of gratitude for Sue Knarr. Sue will retire at the end of March and is now training her replacement, Diane Mack. Thankfully, we will continue to see her on Sundays and in our church life. But, as she changes her role, we want to recognize her wonderful ministry. We will celebrate Sue in our 9:45 service on April 2. If you would like to send a card or a financial gift for Sue, you can mail it to the church office. Please direct your gift or card to the attention of my Executive Coordinator, Stacey Judge. Or, you can CLICK HERE to make a gift online.

On Sunday, we will continue in our series, Luke: The Passion. Our Next Gen Pastor, Taylor Shade will preach “Abandoned.” Jesus was betrayed by Judas. But he was abandoned by all his disciples. As we continue to walk to the cross, we see the “Passion” – Jesus’ suffering for you and for me.

Easter is coming soon, and I hope you will consider inviting someone to Easter Services. CLICK HERE for more details.

Praying for all of us that in these days of Lent, we will see more clearly the depths of Jesus’ love.
