GRACE This Week

This Sunday, we continue walking through the Gospel of Luke. Kyra Thomas, our Pastoral Fellow and Young Adult Director, will be preaching, “This is My Son.” Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a mountain and these 3 disciples see the glory of Jesus. They hear God speaking, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen, listen to Him.” It’s a powerful moment. Why did that happen? How is that event a part of the Mission? CLICK HERE to read the passage and ask some of your own questions to get ready for Sunday.

Some important dates are coming up:

ASH WEDNESDAY – Wednesday, February 22nd, 7 pm at BECA

Plan to be a part of our Ash Wednesday service, next Wednesday at 7 pm at BECA. Our service will include the imposition of ashes and time to reflect on our journey through Lent toward Easter Sunday.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – March 5th, following the 9:45 am service

The Session has called a meeting of the Congregation/Corporation for Sunday, March 5th, immediately following the 9:45 am service. At the meeting, the Nominating Committee will make their report for officer elections, you will receive the annual report for 2022 as well as the budget for 2023, as well as updates about our Hecktown Campus.

We are wrapping up our 2023 Mission and Ministry commitment campaign. As I shared in church on Sunday, we have had a tremendous response so far for our annual campaign. What a year we have ahead of us as we love the Lehigh Valley and the World in Jesus’s name…. and invite all to know the GRACE of Jesus Christ.

If you haven’t made your 2023 financial commitment yet, you can do that by turning in a pledge card on Sunday, or you can do that right now – CLICK HERE. Thank you for your generosity. Your giving allows the Finance Committee, Session and Staff to plan for this exciting year ahead of us.

It is a privilege to be…

Your Pastor,

Dr. Marnie Crumpler
