Sunday was a great start to a very important new year for all of us at GRACE Church. It was good to be back together in worship. It was good to take communion together. It was good to have Pastor Taylor Shade administer communion for the first time as our ordained Next Generation Pastor.
I hope you are still asking the New Year’s questions that came from Jesus’ response to his parents when they found him in the Temple:
· Will I be in my Father’s house?
· Will I be about my Father’s business?
If you missed the message, CLICK HERE to see it.
This Sunday, we are back to our regular worship schedule:
· Modern Worship: 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
· Classic Worship: 9:45 a.m.
Sunday, we will keep walking through the gospel of Luke. You can pick up your “Luke: The Mission” journal to help you study the Scripture and engage the Sermon. We will also be providing a weekly “Groups Guide” for your small group to follow along with Luke.

And as we look at Jesus’ mission, we will be thinking together about joining Jesus in his mission as a church and every day. This week, I will preach, “Water and Wilderness.” We will walk with Jesus through the waters of the Jordan River and into the wilderness.
