I am looking out over a lake today, enjoying the sounds of birds and chipmunks and the breeze that is a harbinger of the fall.
We have two weeks remaining in our Summer Stories series. Often, Jesus told stories about nature around him. I can imagine Jesus looking out over some fig trees, telling this week’s parable about a fig tree.
Mark will be preaching and inviting us to have ears to hear Jesus’ story about figs that bear no fruit. Again, it’s the ordinary pointing to the extraordinary, inviting us to bear fruit as we live the “Jesus-life.”
If you are new to GRACE, I want to personally invite you to attend NEXT coming up this Sunday, August 28 from 3-5 pm in person at our Locust Street Campus (521 E. Locust Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018).
NEXT will give you an inside look at GRACE Church – what we believe, our vision for the future, and ways for you to connect. As a part of the class, you will also have the opportunity to become a member of GRACE!

God continues to grow our church deep and wide –
Wide – as more and more people join us and…
Deep – as we grow more like Jesus.
This fall, we have many opportunities for all ages to grow deep. I hope you will find one.
