Last Sunday, we talked together about the power of community and the pain of being apart. In 2020, we learned that Community Matters. Even though we had more time than ever, we couldn’t get outside our home to see our extended family and our friends. In 2020, we stayed home a lot.
“Stay at Home” orders have had their own impact on us. If you live by yourself, home was quiet, and maybe for you terribly lonely. If you live with your spouse, or your whole family, stay at home had different challenges. In Team Crumpler (as we often call our family), our college kids came home – upending many of their plans – including graduation. Even though there were some holy moments, it was hard for them (and us). Others of you had young children – with zoom school. And still others of you became new parents in this “stay at home” season. And that’s just kids…Couples, too, have had to readjust to being together more than ever.
Sunday, Mark will take us through yet another “Good Lesson from a Bad Year” – Home Matters. And this week, we will all be worshipping from home…
Unfortunately, due to COVID issues, all activities on the BECA Campus are suspended through the weekend. Join us online at our regular worship times 8:30 and 11 am for Modern and 9:45am for Classic. We anticipate being back to in-person worship (along with continued online worship) next Sunday.
