4 years ago, this is what I wrote to you:
Here we Go! With God’s faithfulness as our net, we now take a leap of faith and launch into a new and exciting season in the life of our church. I have never seen a group of people more excited. What a powerful moment it was to have thirteen of the fourteen surviving members who were a part of our church in the original North Street building lead the covenant moment of raising our Ebenezer stones. We carry the legacy of this congregation and its commitment to Jesus Christ as we move ahead.
Many of you were there for that very first Sunday worshipping at BECAHI. It is hard to believe that this Sunday will be our 4th year anniversary worshipping there. BECAHI has been a dear partner to us over these years.
Sunday, we will take a moment to thank God for His faithfulness, to celebrate our partnership with BECA and thank the countless numbers of volunteers and staff who have set up and taken down all the needed equipment for our weekly worship.
We will also continue in our sermon series, Revisiting GRACE. Dr. Mark Crumpler will preach, “Grow GRACE.” Knowing the GRACE of Jesus in your life is only the beginning of your spiritual journey. God’s plan is for you to grow and to become more and more like Jesus.
This is a great time of year for you to find a bible study at GRACE where you can grow. See below for a list of studies that will begin soon. Also, many of you are in small groups where you study the bible and grow. If you aren’t in a group, there will be an opportunity to join a six-week group in March. Stay tuned for more information.
Don’t forget Sunday afternoon, we will celebrate The Ordination and Installation of Doug Stewart at 3 pm at our Locust Street Campus.
God continues to lead the way for our church. It is a privilege to be
Your Pastor,

Dr. Marnie Crumpler
Senior Pastor
