GRACE This Week

This week, I will wrap up our Dear Church series, with “Dear GRACE.” The past few weeks, we’ve been looking at what Jesus had to say to those first-century churches and how it applies to us today. Over the last weeks, I asked our elders to join me in praying about what Jesus would write to our church in this season. What praises would Jesus have for us? What problems would He point out? And what promise would He give?

I pray for our church every day, but this week, it has been life-giving to pray for hours asking what our letter would look like. After the message, we will take Thanksgiving Communion together as a way to commit ourselves again to God’s vision for our church.

After Communion, we will make our SHINE BRIGHT Commitments. By now, you know where we are in our vision to put down roots and live the vision of SHINING the love of Jesus Christ to the Lehigh Valley for generations. God has been leading us and this is our final push to raise the resources we need. Join me in praying that together, we will commit $2 million dollars (or more).

Some of you have already made your commitments, some of you will bring your commitments on Sunday. Or you can make your commitment right now by CLICKING HERE.

On Sunday, I am very excited to welcome 14 new members (and their children) who attended our last NEXT class of the year, along with several others who joined earlier in the year who have not yet been introduced.

This weekend begins what I affectionately call THANKSMAS. It is so perfect for us to begin our walk towards Christmas with Thanksgiving. I hope you are marking your calendar for all the ways that you can “Prepare Him Room” this Christmas including:
