GRACE This Week

Sunday, I will continue in our series, Dear Church. Last Sunday, we looked at the churches that got all praise and had no problems. This weekend, I’ll preach us through the letters to the churches in Revelation that got no praise and had plenty of problems.

If you want to read in advance of Sunday, you can find the letter to the church in Sardis in Revelation 3:1-6 and the letter to the church in Laodicea in Revelation 3:14-22.

Also, this Sunday, we will honor our Veterans at all services. We will pray for you and have a gift for our Veterans.

Due to the temperatures outside, this week, we will move our Coffee Gathering between services to inside. Look for coffee in the gym lobby. A special thanks to our hospitality team for serving us outside for the past few months.

Sunday afternoon, we will have our last Fall NEXT experience. This is a way to take a next step into the GRACE Community, to hear our vision, find ways to connect, and explore church membership. It’s not too late to sign up. We will meet at our Locust Street Campus from 3-5 pm and you can sign up here.

Many of you attended our vision update sessions over the last few weeks and know that we have made a lot of progress but need to make one last financial push to make our way forward to on our vision and our new campus. I am so grateful for our teams who have been leading us to get to a guaranteed maximum price and develop a responsible financial plan. A packet explaining this process and our need has been mailed to all of our congregation. If you haven’t already received it, you will in the next few days. Our goal is to raise $2 million dollars (or more). We will make those commitments next Sunday, November 21st. We have an incredibly generous congregation- committed to the vision of shining the love of Jesus to the Lehigh Valley for generations and building a home base for that mission. I am amazed at how much has already been given! And trust that God is leading all of us in this exciting season.
