2019 Giving Tree
The giving tree is an invitation to our congregation to take a tag from the “giving tree” and show someone love and care by providing the person mentioned in the tag a gift for Christmas. This small gesture will impact the life of another person in the name of Christ. There will be 500 tags/500 people to care about, love and impact this Christmas season. Two of our partner elementary schools, Donegan and Fountain Hill, have asked us to help them get some of their classes and school ready to welcome students this Fall. Help Lynfield Community Center Feed Bethlehem. 70% of Freemansburg Elementary Students are served by Lynfield. Bring your food donations to the Locust Street Campus on Saturday, August 22 between 9 and 11 am. Suggested food donations: Carbs/Pasta (pasta, rice, macaroni and cheese, potato flakes, etc.) Breakfast Items (oatmeal, pancake mix (add water only), cereal, peanut butter, jelly, etc.) Meals in a can (canned ham, tuna, chicken, ravioli, beef stew, spaghetti-os, etc.) Canned beans (kidney, black, pinto, etc.) Spaghetti Sauce
