This discussion group is designed to encourage and equip Christian grandparents by teaching Biblical principles. Some of the topics discussed are “Overcoming Grandparenting Barriers” and “Long Distance Grandparenting” (physically, spiritually, and/or emotionally). Discussion breaks in small groups will enable you to share and learn from other grandparents.

Society says: You’re a grandparent now! Probably retired! It’s your turn now, have fun, focus on yourself.
God says: Deut 4:9: Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to THEIR CHILDREN AFTER THEM.
The reason Grandparenting Matters is because it teaches us that we are to be “intentional” or spiritual in our guiding role of grandparent. We still do have a job to do, even if retired. We are uniquely positioned in second place to their parents in teaching them. This course helps us to navigate those waters.
Are you a “blocked grandparent?” Blocked by distance? Broken or difficult relationships? Divorce? Have your children fallen away from the church? This course addresses those challenges, but we also learn from each other in discussion groups.
Of course, we still babysit, play, discipline, entertain, and have fun! But the most important thing we can give our grandchild is not the latest, greatest toy, but a spiritual heritage to guide their life.
If you’d like some guidance with all of the above, register below to become an “INTENTIONAL CHRISTIAN GRANDPARENT.”
